Bearman Criticizes Tsunoda’s Driving Style at the United States Grand Prix
The young Formula 1 driver, Oliver Bearman, has expressed his dissatisfaction with the way Yuki Tsunoda drove during the United States Grand Prix. Bearman described Tsunoda’s driving as dangerous and a bad example for young aspiring drivers. The tension between both drivers arose when Tsunoda, while defending his position, forced Bearman to make an evasive maneuver to avoid contact with the Red Bull. This incident caused Bearman to go off the track and lose positions.Bearman, visibly frustrated, added that Tsunoda made abrupt movements for several laps and did not leave enough space on the track, forcing him to take action to avoid a major collision. Bearman finished the race in ninth position, while Tsunoda achieved seventh place. The Haas driver regretted that the incident prevented him from obtaining a better result. In addition to the incident in the race, Bearman also criticized Tsunoda’s performance in the sprint race, where, according to him, he had similar actions.I felt that what he did was quite dangerous, against the spirit of how we should race and against the image we should project to the children growing up in karting and those things. This is not how we race.

Tsunoda added that he doesn’t believe he made any braking moves and that the situation was unfortunate, especially because both drivers were having a good battle. That’s racing, isn’t it? I was totally in control, I had no lock-ups, and I was literally side-by-side. I’m not his teammate, I’m just fighting to be in the top 10 or more, so yeah, I thought it was okay.
