Claressa Shields Tops Women’s Pound-for-Pound Rankings

The undisputed heavyweight champion, Claressa Shields, continues to lead the Alofoke Deportes women’s pound-for-pound ranking. Meanwhile, Amanda Serrano remains in third position after her victory over Reina Tellez on January 3rd. In other ranking news, one boxer moved up, another joined the list, and others consolidated their position in the top 10. Gabriela Fundora moves up one spot, ranking at number 4, and Mikaela Mayer remains in sixth place, after unifying three super lightweight world titles. Alycia Baumgardner and Yokasta Valle also retain their positions after notable victories. The most significant change is the entry of Elif Nur Turhan into the top 10, following her outstanding performance against Beatriz Ferreira, who until then remained undefeated. Turhan achieved a dominant TKO in the fifth round, sending Ferreira to the canvas in the first and fifth rounds before the fight was stopped.
