Revealed Fight Card for the Jake Paul vs. Anthony Joshua Fight

Most Valuable Promotions has unveiled the fight card that will accompany the highly anticipated clash between Jake Paul and Anthony Joshua on December 19 at the Kaseya Center in Miami. The event, which promises strong emotions, will be broadcast live on Netflix. The main structure of the fight card remains true to the original plan for Paul’s fight with Gervonta Davis. Alycia Baumgardner will defend her unified super featherweight title against Leila Beaudoin in the co-main event. However, the fight between Anderson Silva and Chris Weidman has undergone modifications. Instead, Tyron Woodley will face Silva in a six-round cruiserweight bout.

I believe that changes always happen for a reason. I am focused on doing a good job. Always respecting my opponent and showing total respect for the world of boxing.

Anderson Silva
Both Silva and Woodley have experienced defeats against Paul in the past. Silva suffered a close unanimous decision loss to Paul in 2022. Woodley, for his part, lost both fights against “The Problem Child”, one by split decision in August 2021 and another by knockout in December of the same year. Weidman was forced to withdraw from the fight against Silva due to an injury. Woodley, who was the UFC welterweight champion from 2016 to 2019, will seek his first boxing victory against one of the most prominent champions in the history of mixed martial arts.

Moments like this arise, where legends are born.

The preliminary card will also feature Cherneka “Sugar Neekz” Johnson’s defense of the undisputed bantamweight title against Amanda Galle, Yokasta Valle putting her WBC strawweight title on the line against Yadira Bustillos, and the welterweight clash between Avious Griffin and Justin Cardona. In addition, two-time Brazilian Olympian Keno Marley will make his professional debut in a four-round cruiserweight bout against Diarra Davis. The WBA super lightweight title fight between champion Gary Antuanne Russell and Andy Hiraoka has been removed from the card. The fight between Anderson Silva and Tyron Woodley promises to be an iconic showdown, elevating the Jake vs. Joshua: Judgment Day event to one of the most exciting of the decade. The magnitude of this event is reflected in the presence of two mixed martial arts legends on the global stage, broadcast live by Netflix. The defense of Alycia Baumgardner’s unified title and a card packed with champions, including Cherneka Johnson and Yokasta Valle, promise an unforgettable night in boxing history.
