Revealed Fight Card for Jake Paul vs. Anthony Joshua on December 19th

Most Valuable Promotions has announced the preliminary fights for the highly anticipated matchup between Jake Paul and Anthony Joshua, scheduled for December 19th at the Kaseya Center in Miami. The event will be streamed live on Netflix. The fight card, which was originally planned for Paul’s fight with Gervonta Davis, largely remains the same. Alycia Baumgardner will defend her unified super featherweight title against Leila Beaudoin, serving as the co-main event. However, a significant change is the absence of Anderson Silva vs. Chris Weidman on the main card. Instead, Tyron Woodley will face Silva in a six-round cruiserweight bout. Both Silva and Woodley have suffered defeats against Paul in the past. Silva lost by unanimous decision to Paul in 2022, while Woodley was defeated by “The Problem Child” by split decision in August 2021 and by knockout in the rematch in December of the same year.

I believe that changes always happen for a reason. I am focused on doing a good job. Always respecting my opponent and showing total respect for the world of boxing.

Anderson Silva
Weidman was forced to withdraw from the fight against Silva due to an injury. Woodley, who was the UFC welterweight champion from 2016 to 2019, will seek his first boxing victory against one of the most prominent champions in the history of mixed martial arts.

It arises on occasions like this where legends are born.

The preliminary card will also include the defense of Cherneka “Sugar Neekz” Johnson’s undisputed bantamweight title against Amanda Galle, Yokasta Valle putting her WBC strawweight title on the line against Yadira Bustillos, and Avious Griffin facing Justin Cardona in a welterweight bout. Keno Marley, a two-time Brazilian Olympian, will make his professional debut in a four-round cruiserweight bout against Diarra Davis. The WBA super lightweight title fight between champion Gary Antuanne Russell and Andy Hiraoka is no longer part of the card. Anderson Silva vs. Tyron Woodley is an iconic matchup, which continues to elevate Jake vs. Joshua: Judgment Day to one of the most exciting combat sports events of the decade. This is the gladiatorial sports spectacle of the 21st century. A main event that has captivated the entire world. Bringing back two of the MMA GOATs to the spotlight on a global stage, live on Netflix, reflects the magnitude of this card.
