The fight is about to begin! Jake Paul and Julio César Chávez Jr. will face each other this Saturday at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California.

Both boxers complied with the official weigh-in prior to their expected fight, which will be broadcast on DAZN PPV.

Julio César Chávez Jr., known for his history of weight problems, weighed in at 198.4 pounds on the scale. This figure, which represents his highest weight in his entire career, was 1.6 pounds below the cruiserweight limit, set at 200 pounds.

In his most recent fight against MMA fighter Uriah Hall, Chávez (54-6-1, 34 KOs) weighed 197 3/4 pounds. The former WBC middleweight champion has had difficulty making weight on several occasions throughout his career, such as in his fights against Daniel Jacobs (4.7 pounds over) and Anderson Silva (2.4 pounds over). However, on this occasion, Chávez seems to be in the best physical shape he has shown since his time as middleweight champion, more than a decade ago.

For his part, Jake Paul (11-1, 7 KOs) weighed in at 199.4 pounds. Paul is coming off his heavyweight fight last November against Mike Tyson, where he marked his highest weight to date, at 227 ¼ pounds.
