Lawrence Okolie to Headline Boxing Card in Lagos, Nigeria

Heavyweight Lawrence Okolie will headline an exciting boxing card in Lagos, Nigeria, on December 19th. This event will mark a significant milestone for boxing in Africa. The card will also feature David Adeleye, a promising British heavyweight contender with Nigerian roots. Okolie, a former cruiserweight champion, was born in Nigeria and this will be his first professional fight on the African continent, an emerging market for boxing. “High-level boxing comes to Lagos!” Okolie said. Okolie expressed his enthusiasm for this historic event, highlighting its importance for his family and his career. In addition, he thanked Frank and George Warren, as well as Queensberry, for making this opportunity possible. In the December lineup, Emanuel Odiase, Taiwo Agbaje, and Shiloh Thomas will also participate.
