Frank “The Ghost” Martin Returns to the Ring Against Rances Barthelemy

Boxer Frank “The Ghost” Martin (18-1, 12 KOs) will return to action after his recent defeat in June 2024 against Gervonta Davis. He will face former two-division champion Rances Barthelemy (30-3-1, 15 KOs) on the undercard of the main event between Sebastian Fundora and Keith Thurman, where Fundora will defend his WBC super welterweight title. The fight is scheduled for October 25 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. Martin and Barthelemy will face each other in a 10-round fight in the super lightweight category. This match will be the preliminary main event of a series of three PBC fights, broadcast by Prime Video, which will precede the main fight between Fundora and Thurman, which will be broadcast on PPV.

I’m excited to be back after some tried to criticize me for a defeat. I took it as a lesson learned and I’m back, mentally and physically, at the top of my game. Rances will have to deal with everything I went through, and he will feel it in every punch. I’m back, and I’m angry and dangerous.

At 30 years old, Martin began his professional career with a streak of 18 consecutive victories before being stopped in the eighth round by Davis in a fight for the WBA lightweight title last year. Barthelemy, 39, will be his next opponent. Barthelemy hasn’t fought since losing by unanimous decision to José Ramírez in April 2024. He is a former IBF super lightweight and lightweight champion, but has been relatively inactive in the last three years, with a record of 1-2.

October 25th is the night I will remind everyone who Rances Barthelemy is. Frank Martin is a talented boxer, but I’ve been in deep waters before, and experience counts when the lights shine the brightest. I come with a new hunger, greater focus, and the fire of a man pursuing a career more for the world title. The fans who tune in will see me determined to leave it all in the ring. I’m not here to survive; I’m here to dominate and make sure my name is back on everyone’s radar.
