Tragic Night for the Davis Brothers in Norfolk
What promised to be a home celebration for Keyshawn Davis and his brothers, Keon (welterweight) and Kelvin (super lightweight), turned into a disastrous weekend that culminated in regrettable incidents on Saturday night at the Scope Arena in Norfolk, Virginia.
Following Nahir Albright’s surprising victory over Kelvin in the co-main event, Keon and Keyshawn were involved in an altercation with Albright backstage. The incident, captured on video, capped off a complicated weekend for the Davis brothers.
The situation worsened from the start, when Keyshawn failed to make the agreed-upon weight, losing his WBO lightweight title and canceling his main fight against Edwin De Los Santos.
Although Keon achieved a knockout victory on Saturday night, Kelvin, the older brother, suffered a decision loss to Albright.
I got jumped. Keyshawn, you have to fight me again, in the ring, not outside of it.

During an interview, Albright alleged to have been “assaulted” by Keyshawn and Keon after his victory over Kelvin. Swelling was noted above his right eye, visibly marked after the fight.
According to Albright, Keyshawn headbutted him. The boxer and his team will decide whether to take legal action for the fight.
The Davis brothers declined to comment.Albright and Keyshawn Davis have a history. Keyshawn defeated Albright by unanimous decision in 2023, but the decision was overturned after he tested positive for marijuana.
