Anthony Joshua Faces Recovery After Tragic Accident

The renowned boxer Anthony Joshua is in a recovery process after the tragic car accident in Nigeria that cost the lives of two close friends. Eddie Hearn, Joshua’s promoter, has stated that the athlete will take the time necessary to return to normal. The accident occurred on December 29th and claimed the lives of Sina Ghami, who was their strength and conditioning coach, and Latif ‘Latz’ Ayodele, also a coach. Joshua, of Nigerian origin but born in Watford, was on vacation in Nigeria after his victory over Jake Paul in Miami. Recently, Hearn shared a photo on social media where he was seen with Joshua in a gym, offering an update on the boxer’s mental state.
Joshua has returned to training this week, posting a video on Snapchat where he is seen exercising, hitting pads and using a stationary bike. After his victory over Paul, the possibility of a showdown between Joshua and Tyson Fury was a topic of conversation. However, the recent accident has cast doubt on Joshua’s future in boxing.

You will need physical, mental, emotional and spiritual time before making a decision about your future. I think he will want to return to boxing, but that will be his decision when the time is right.
