An injury to unified junior featherweight champion Ellie Scotney during training has led to the cancellation of her fight against WBA titleholder Mayelli Flores. This change comes on the undercard of the highly anticipated matchup between Jake Paul and Gervonta Davis, scheduled for November 14th. Instead, Most Valuable Promotions has announced that the undisputed women’s bantamweight champion, Cherneka “Sugar Neekz” Johnson (18-2, 8 KOs), will defend her titles against Amanda Galle (12-0-1, 1 KOs), headlining the preliminary card.Bidarian added: “Even with little notice, this will be an action-packed fight with both boxers willing to give it their all on Friday, November 14th. Johnson comes into this defense after her technical knockout victory in the ninth round against Metcalf in July, which made her the first undisputed Australian champion in the four-belt era. For her first title defense, she will face an undefeated Canadian looking to cause an upset.“I’m excited to get back in the ring before the end of the year!
