The renowned promoter Eddie Hearn has expressed his desire to revitalize Tom Aspinall’s image, after finalizing a commercial agreement with the UFC heavyweight champion.
Aspinall, with a record of 15-3, announced his alliance with Hearn’s newly created Matchroom Talent Agency. This collaboration implies that Hearn, known for his experience in the boxing world, will take over the management of the British fighter’s career and commercial interests.
Aspinall’s last appearance in the octagon was in October, in a fight against Ciryl Gane that was prematurely interrupted due to an incident. Subsequently, Aspinall underwent eye surgery.
“Sometimes, when I speak to him for the first time, it’s as if I’m talking to someone who doesn’t realize who he is or what he is,” Hearn declared during a press conference.

“As athletes, we have a very short window of opportunity to earn a lot of money. With what has happened in my career, my recent injuries, I want to earn as much money as possible. I want to secure my family’s future,” Aspinall stated.
