Dubois Presses Harper: Light Unification in Sight for 2026
Caroline Dubois, after her victory in December over Camilla Panatta, has expressed her desire to unify titles in the lightweight category and has urged Terri Harper to accept a fight. Dubois, with an undefeated record of 12 wins and one draw, seeks to become the undisputed champion this year.

Dubois aims for unification

The British boxer, who debuted under Jake Paul’s promotion with a points victory over Panatta, has set her sights on a fight against Harper, holder of the WBO title, before considering a possible fight against Alycia Baumgardner. Dubois, WBC champion, has pointed to Harper as her preferred next rival. “The next fight we are going to push for is against Terri Harper,” Dubois stated. “The plan is to try to become the undisputed champion this year, and I think that’s very possible.”

I hope he doesn’t try to ask for silly things.

Dubois has also mentioned the possibility of facing Baumgardner, unified super-lightweight champion, in what he considers will be the most important fight in women’s boxing.

Harper, also under MVP promotion, is seen by Dubois as the most logical fight. “I think there is no other fight for her. I hope she doesn’t try to ask for silly things,” Dubois added. Dubois believes that getting the four belts, including Elif Nur Turhan and Stephanie Han, is feasible in the next twelve months.
