Danny García Says Goodbye to Brooklyn: A Look Back at His Memorable Fights

Danny “Swift” García, the Philadelphia boxer who found a second home at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, is preparing for his tenth and final fight in this iconic venue. With a record of seven wins and two losses in nine fights, García bids farewell to Brooklyn with an event he himself promotes, “Farewell to Brooklyn”, where he will face Daniel González.

For me, being able to promote my last fight at the Barclays Center and doing it because I want to, not because I have to, means a lot. It’s a dream come true and I couldn’t ask for a better ending.

It was the perfect night. The first fight at the Barclays and I defended my titles with a knockout of the card. There’s nothing better than that.
