A Champion’s Ring in Play: Canelo vs. Crawford

In a major event, the expected undisputed super middleweight title fight between champion Canelo Álvarez and challenger Terence Crawford, to be held at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, will have an additional prize of great value: a unique championship ring. The World Boxing Council (WBC) has unveiled the first championship ring of the WBC Crown Undisputed series, designed by Rasheen Farlow, WBC strategic partner, and created by Jason of Beverly Hills. The jewel, crafted in yellow gold, boasts almost 10 carats of stones, including 8.5 carats of white diamonds, and is valued at over $100,000.

In the center of the ring, a collection of green stones represents the WBC’s distinctive green belt. In addition, four colored stones symbolize the affiliated sanctioning organizations: World Boxing Council (WBC), World Boxing Organization (WBO), International Boxing Federation (IBF), and World Boxing Association (WBA).

The belt will always be sacred in boxing, it is the jewel in the crown of tradition. But a ring? A ring carries the legacy to your fingers. It is a monument that can be worn.

By turning the top of the ring, a representation of Allegiant Stadium is revealed with a quadrilateral in the center of the field and the names of Crawford and Canelo in their respective scoring zones. One side of the ring shows the date of the fight over the Ring Magazine logo and a pair of boxing gloves. The other side bears the inscription “Undisputed” and the WBC initials in diamonds, along with the year.

The WBC is absolutely thrilled to present an amazing “Undisputed Champion” ring to the victor of the highly anticipated match between Canelo Álvarez and Terence Crawford. There is no better setting to award this unique and luxurious WBC champion ring than Allegiant Stadium, which will host this legendary fight, the true Super Bowl of boxing.
