Conor Benn and Chris Eubank Jr. fulfilled the official weigh-in this Friday, marking the start of their awaited rematch. Benn registered 159.3 pounds on the scale, slightly surpassing his opponent, who weighed 159.1 pounds. In the previous face-off, Eubank Jr. had difficulties with the weight. In April, for his first fight, he failed to make weight on his first attempt, marking 160.2 pounds, and also on the second, with 160.05 pounds, exceeding the middleweight limit. Benn, for his part, weighed 156.4 pounds before their first encounter, moving up from the welterweight category for the fight. As in their first fight, the rematch includes a controversial 10-pound rehydration clause, meaning neither boxer can weigh more than 170 pounds on the day of the fight.
Benn also stated that he is focused on his personal goals in boxing, beyond the financial aspects.I feel like I am stronger for this fight, but deep down in my head I still want to lose weight.

Benn also revealed his enthusiasm for returning to his natural weight and winning a world title to consolidate his personal legacy. We want to offer the biggest possible fights to the public and, obviously, it’s financially rewarding for us, but you sit and think… How much money do you need?
