Revealed Fight Card for the Jake Paul vs. Gervonta Davis Exhibition in Miami
Most Valuable Promotions announced the championship fights that will accompany the expected boxing exhibition between Jake Paul and Gervonta Davis on November 14 at the Kaseya Center in Miami. The event will be streamed globally live via Netflix.Featured Fights on the Card
Alycia Baumgardner (16-1, 7 KOs) will defend her WBA, WBO, and IBF super-lightweight titles against Leila Beudoin (13-1, 2 KOs) in the co-main event. This bout will be governed by men’s championship rules, with 12 three-minute rounds.Baumgardner recently relinquished her WBC title, due to WBC president Mauricio Sulaiman’s opposition to three-minute rounds for women’s boxing. A similar situation occurred with Amanda Serrano.Consistency is what keeps me in shape and makes me dangerous. Fighting 12×3:00 represents equality. Equality in boxing means giving champions a platform to showcase their greatness. I am here to show the world that I am made for everything.

In addition, Gary Antuanne Russell (18-1, 17 KOs) will defend his WBA super lightweight championship against mandatory challenger Andy Hiraoka (24-0, 19 KOs). Russell will make his first title defense after defeating Jose Valenzuela in March. Gary Russell is a great champion, but I come to Miami to win his belt and become the next world champion from Japan.Like Amanda Serrano and many other great champions before me, I believe women should have the option to compete under the same rules as men, 12 rounds, three minutes per round. I have chosen to move forward in my career under those terms. My next championship fight will be held under those rules, and since the WBC currently does not allow women to fight under those terms, I have made the difficult decision to relinquish my WBC title.

Preliminary Card
The preliminary card will be headlined by unified women’s super-flyweight champion Ellie Scotney (11-0), who will face WBA champion Mayelli Flores (13-1-1, 4 KOs), to determine the undisputed champion of the division. Scotney, 27, will be the youngest British boxer, male or female, to have fought for an undisputed world title. Also on the preliminary card, WBC women’s strawweight champion Yokasta Valle (33-3, 10 KOs) will put her title on the line against Yadira Bustillos (11-1, 2 KOs) in a 10-round bout. Avious Griffin (17-1, 16 KOs) will look to rebound from his first professional loss when he faces Cesar Francis (14-2, 9 KOs) in an 8-round welterweight battle. The Paul vs. Davis fight will be a 10-round exhibition of three minutes, contested at an agreed weight of 195 pounds. The boxers will use 12-ounce gloves. Although the result will not affect their professional boxing records, three judges at ringside will determine a winner if the fight goes the distance.Belt by belt, I’ve earned it the hard way. Undisputed has always been the goal, and now, thanks to MVP, we are in the final and most important step. On November 14th, I will make history as the next undisputed world champion of Great Britain.
