La Romana – The game between the Águilas Cibaeñas and the Toros del Este, scheduled for this Tuesday, was postponed due to unfavorable field conditions. The heavy rains in the area prevented the Dominican Professional Baseball League (LIDOM) game from taking place.
The game, which was scheduled to begin at 5:00 PM at the Francisco Micheli Stadium, could not take place due to the accumulation of water on the field. This compromised the safety of the players and the normal development of the game.
LIDOM announced that the new date for the game will be announced as soon as the weather conditions improve. The rescheduling will be coordinated within the official season calendar.
This match is part of the 2025-2026 season of the Banreservas Cup, which continues despite the interruptions caused by the rains in several locations.
