Pacers seek NBA Finals berth in Game 6 against Knicks

The Indiana Pacers will have another chance to secure their place in the NBA Finals. The team returns home to Gainbridge Fieldhouse for Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Finals against the New York Knicks this Saturday, leading the series 3-2.

Indiana comes to this match after a loss in Game 5, with a score of 111-94 in favor of New York.

In that game, Jalen Brunson had an outstanding performance with 32 points, followed by Karl-Anthony Towns, who scored 24 points and grabbed 13 rebounds, thus forcing Game 6.

This Saturday could be a repeat of the 2000 Eastern Conference Finals, where the Pacers defeated the Knicks 93-80 in Game 6, advancing to the NBA Finals.

In Game 3 of the series, the Knicks secured a victory over Indiana, the first game of the series in Indiana, where they completed a 20-point comeback led by Towns.

The Knicks will look to lean on the great performances of their key players, Towns and Mitchell Robinson, in addition to Brunson’s talent to stay alive in the series.

Brunson has scored 189 points from drives, the third-most points scored this way in a single postseason.

Will Indiana advance to face the Oklahoma City Thunder for the Larry O’Brien trophy, or will New York force a Game 7?
