The 2026 World Cup breaks ticket sales records
The 2026 FIFA World Cup, to be held in the United States, Mexico, and Canada, has reached an impressive figure: over one million tickets sold. FIFA announced this achievement this Thursday, marking a significant milestone in the preparation for the tournament. The presale, which began in mid-September, attracted fans from 212 countries. The host countries lead the list of buyers, followed by England, Germany, Brazil, Spain, Colombia, Argentina, and France.The next ticket sales phase will begin on October 27. A new advance draw will be held that will allow fans to purchase individual tickets for the 104 tournament matches, as well as stadium and team passes.Today, we celebrate the sale of over a million tickets following the Visa pre-sale draw. The public’s response has been incredible, and it shows that the biggest and most inclusive World Cup in history has already begun to captivate fans around the world.

So far, 28 teams have already secured their place in the final phase, including the three host nations. England is the only European team with a guaranteed spot.
