Clark Ready for the Pro-Am

Caitlin Clark will participate in the pro-am of The Annika tournament on the LPGA Tour next month. This event marks her return to competition after a complicated season due to injuries. I had an incredible time at The Annika last November and participating in the pro-am alongside Nelly Korda and Annika Sorenstam, two of the best in the game. The pro-am will take place on November 12th at the Pelican Golf Club and will be open to the public. Last year, Clark, who had just finished her first season in the WNBA and was named Rookie of the Year, attracted a large crowd and generated great enthusiasm. The Annika is the penultimate tournament on the LPGA schedule. Clark maintains a corporate relationship with Gainbridge Insurance, the main sponsor. The second season of Clark in the WNBA was affected by injuries. She only played 13 games and was ruled out for the rest of the season on September 4 due to a groin injury. The Indiana Fever, her team, reached the playoffs again, but were eliminated by the Las Vegas Aces in the semifinals.
