Greyserman, Cauley, and Campbell Lead the Baycurrent Classic in Japan
American golfers Max Greyserman, Bud Cauley, and Brian Campbell positioned themselves at the top of the leaderboard after the first round of the Baycurrent Classic in Japan, after signing scorecards of 67 strokes (-4). This tournament, which is part of the PGA Tour, moves this year to the Yokohama Country Club, after having been held east of Tokyo since 2019 under the name Zozo Championship. Several players are close to the leaders, including Australian Adam Scott. Other competitors are staying close, promising an exciting competition. Xander Schauffele and Collin Morikawa, members of the U.S. Ryder Cup team, finished the round with a pair of 71 strokes. The defending champion, Nico Echavarria, from Colombia, turned in a card of 70. Hideki Matsuyama, 2021 Masters champion, completed the first round with 72 strokes.
