After learning of the diagnosis of motor neuron disease (MND) of former England rugby captain Lewis Moody, Kevin Sinfield has expressed his commitment to provide support. Sinfield, who has been a fervent advocate for the fight against MND, has raised over £10 million for research and awareness of the disease, since his friend and teammate at the Leeds Rhinos, Rob Burrow, was diagnosed in 2019. Burrow passed away at 41 years old due to complications from the disease in June of last year.

Lewis Moody captained England during his rugby career.
