Rassie Erasmus highlights teamwork after Sacha Feinberg-Mgomezulu’s brilliant performance

Springboks coach Rassie Erasmus acknowledged Sacha Feinberg-Mgomezulu’s outstanding performance against Argentina in the Rugby Championship, but emphasized the importance of teamwork. The Boks defeated Los Pumas 67-30 in Durban, with Feinberg-Mgomezulu scoring 37 points, including three tries, setting a new individual scoring record for South Africa. Erasmus, although he recognized the brilliance of the young player, also pointed out that he had great support on the field.

The coach highlighted that the player has shown growth throughout the tournament, mentioning the help of teammates like Damian de Allende and Damian Willemse. Erasmus also recalled that Feinberg-Mgomezulu has made mistakes and had kicking problems in other matches, but that he is in a process of development and building his reputation. The team captain, Siya Kolisi, praised Feinberg-Mgomezulu’s impressive performance, highlighting his game control and leadership.
