Revealed Fight Card for the Paul vs. Davis Exhibition

Most Valuable Promotions announced the card for the highly anticipated boxing exhibition between Jake Paul and Gervonta Davis, which will take place on November 14 at the Kaseya Center in Miami. The event, which promises strong emotions, will be broadcast globally live on Netflix. The fight card includes both men’s and women’s championship bouts, promising a night full of action for boxing fans.

Co-Starring Fight: Baumgardner vs. Beudoin

Alycia Baumgardner (16-1, 7 KOs) will defend her WBA, WBO, and IBF super-lightweight titles against Leila Beudoin (13-1, 2 KOs) in the co-main event. This fight will be governed by the rules of men’s championships, with 12 rounds of three minutes each.

“Consistency is what keeps me in shape and makes me dangerous. Fighting 12×3:00 represents equality. Equality in boxing means giving champions a platform to showcase their greatness. I am here to show the world that I am built for anything and everything. AND STILL!”, declared Baumgardner.

Baumgardner recently relinquished her WBC title due to WBC president Mauricio Sulaiman’s opposition to three-minute rounds for women’s boxing. This situation is similar to that of Amanda Serrano, who vacated her WBC featherweight title in protest of the organization’s refusal to sanction her request for a 12-round, three-minute title defense.

“Like Amanda Serrano and many other great champions before me, I believe women should have the option to compete under the same rules as men, 12 rounds, three minutes per round. I have chosen to move forward in my career under those terms. My next championship fight will be held under those rules, and since the WBC currently does not allow women to fight under those terms, I have made the difficult decision to vacate my WBC title. I respect the WBC and want to thank the WBC for all the support they have given me throughout my career. Becoming their champion was a career-defining honor, and I hope and plan to one day fight again for a WBC belt,” added Baumgardner.

Russell and Hiraoka in Dispute for the Title

Gary Antuanne Russell (18-1, 17 KOs) will defend his WBA super lightweight championship against mandatory challenger Andy Hiraoka (24-0, 19 KOs). Russell will make his first title defense after defeating José Valenzuela in March. Hiraoka, a fighter from Japan, had his last fight in September 2024, where he defeated Ismael Barroso in the ninth round.

“Gary Russell is a great champion, but I come to Miami to win his belt and become the next world champion from Japan,” stated Hiraoka.

Preliminary Fights

The preliminary card will be headlined by unified women’s super-flyweight champion Ellie Scotney (11-0), who will face WBA champion Mayelli Flores (13-1-1, 4 KOs), to determine the undisputed champion of the division. Scotney, 27, will be the youngest British boxer, male or female, to have fought for an undisputed world title.

“Belt by belt, I’ve earned it the hard way. Being undisputed has always been the goal, and now, thanks to MVP, we are in the final and most important step. On November 14th, I will make history as the next undisputed world champion from Great Britain,” Scotney declared.

Also on the preliminary card, WBC women’s strawweight champion Yokasta Valle (33-3, 10 KOs) will put her title on the line against Yadira Bustillos (11-1, 2 KOs) in a 10-round bout. In addition, Avious Griffin (17-1, 16 KOs) will look to bounce back from his first professional loss when he faces Cesar Francis (14-2, 9 KOs) in an 8-round welterweight battle. The Paul vs. Davis fight will be a 10-round exhibition of three minutes, contested at a catchweight of 195 pounds. The fighters will use 12-ounce gloves. Although the result will not affect their professional boxing records, three judges at ringside will determine a winner if the fight goes the distance.
