McLaren focuses its efforts on improving pit stops, a crucial aspect that impacted Lando Norris in the recent Grand Prix. In the Italian Grand Prix, a slow left front tire change caused an uncomfortable situation in the team orders, where Norris lost a position to Oscar Piastri, and then recovered it. Later, at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, Norris suffered another slow pit stop due to a problem with the front right wheel nut, potentially costing him two positions and four points in the championship.

Andrea Stella, McLaren team principal
Stella emphasized the need to continue working on this aspect, given the growing importance of pit stops in the competitiveness of races.
