The exciting boxing weekend, led by Terence Crawford’s masterful performance against Canelo Álvarez, has caused significant changes in the division rankings. Crawford, after one of the best performances of his career, rose as the new super middleweight king, leaving behind his privileged position at 154 pounds. The unanimous decision victory over Canelo in Las Vegas catapulted Crawford to the top spot at 168 pounds, relegating Canelo to second place. In the co-main event, Lester Martínez earned a spot in the super middleweight rankings after a split draw against WBC interim champion Christian Mbilli. Although the fight was closely contested and Martínez showed great resilience, he had to settle for the draw. Mbilli, despite retaining his interim belt, dropped three places, ranking at number 5. From Japan, Naoya Inoue, another renowned boxer, used his intelligence to dominate Murodjon Akhmadliev and retain his undisputed status in the super featherweight division by unanimous decision. Inoue solidifies his position at the top of the division, while Akhmadliev remains in third place. In the bantamweight division, Christian Medina achieved an impressive technical knockout victory in the fourth round against Yoshiki Takei, obtaining the WBO world title. Medina debuted in the ranking at number 3, while Takei suffered his first professional defeat and fell to number 4.
