The city of Riyadh, in Saudi Arabia, will host this spectacle as part of the “Riyadh Season”. Since its inception in 1985, WrestleMania has been held on North American soil. The vision of Paul “Triple H” Levesque, WWE’s Chief Creative Officer, to take the event international, will finally materialize.The official announcement comes after the revelation by Turki Alalshikh, chairman of the General Entertainment Authority of Saudi Arabia, who anticipated the news in a live Snapchat video, now deleted.This is an opportunity to demonstrate that WWE is a global brand that reaches all corners of the world and excites fans from all over.

Next year’s Royal Rumble will be the first of WWE’s “Big Four” events to be held in the country.
