Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray issued a public apology on Wednesday following the controversy generated by a social media post. The post, which has since been deleted, showed Murray wearing a retro Michael Vick Virginia Tech jersey while posing with one of his two bulldogs. The Instagram post, made on Tuesday, generated negative reactions online, which led Murray to remove it and express his empathy towards those who felt offended.Murray explained that he chose to wear the jersey, which he also wore before Sunday’s victory against the Carolina Panthers, due to his admiration for Vick during his upbringing.
