HOUSTON – The Texas Rangers activated left-handed pitcher Danny Coulombe from the 15-day injured list this Tuesday.

Coulombe, who was out with fatigue in his throwing shoulder, missed the last 13 games. He pitched two scoreless innings in two games of a rehabilitation assignment with the Double-A Frisco team.

This season, Coulombe has a 2-1 record with two saves and an ERA of 2.52 in 51 appearances with one start, playing for Texas and Minnesota. Since being traded to the Rangers on July 31, he has made 11 relief appearances, with a 1-1 record and an ERA of 7.56.

To make room for Coulombe on the roster, right-handed pitcher Luis Curvelo was sent to Triple-A Round Rock.
