Toros del Este Begin Preparations for the 2025-26 Season

La Romana – Los Toros del Este kicked off their preseason with the Early Camp, bringing together 40 players at the Francisco Micheli Stadium. This event marks the beginning of the bullfighting preparation for the 2025-26 season, which will start on October 15.

Jesús Mejía, general manager, and Víctor Estévez, team leader, welcomed the players who showed up early in the morning. Estévez highlighted the importance of communication, integration, and commitment to achieve the goal of returning to the playoffs and fighting for the championship.

Among the players present at the Early Camp were Sandber Pimentel, who signed as a free agent in the offseason; Wendell Rijo; Estamy Ureña, after a standout season in Mexico; Yeison Asencio; Engel Beltré; Cristopher Familia; Carlos Castro and Luis Valdez.

Regarding the pitchers, Jarlin García, José Adames, Franklyn Kilomé, Wandisson Charles, Michael Ynoa, and Chester Pimentel, among others, stood out.

Several invited players will seek a spot on the roster, including Roman infielder Jefry Marte, Jeison Guzmán, Rainel Rosario, and Richard Ureña.

The Early Camp of the Toros del Este will continue throughout the week, with training starting at 9:00 in the morning. The training of the full team will begin next Monday.
