The Princess of Wales joined in the celebrations in the England dressing room after their 47-7 victory over Australia in the Women’s Rugby World Cup on Saturday.
Kate, patron of the Rugby Football Union, was a prominent spectator at the Amex Stadium in Brighton, where the Red Roses secured a quarter-final clash with Scotland and equaled their own world record of 30 consecutive test match wins.
Lark Atkin-Davies, from Bristol, who came off the bench in the second half, revealed in her weekly column on EnglandRugby.com that the princess was not only present as a spectator.
