Last Goodbye to the Legendary Hulk Hogan

An emotional funeral ceremony bid farewell to the iconic wrestling legend, Hulk Hogan, who passed away last month at the age of 71. The event, held on Tuesday night, brought together a crowd to honor the memory of the wrestler, whose real name was Terry Bollea. The intimate ceremony took place in the same church where Hogan was baptized in 2023, a significant place for his personal and spiritual life. According to the Pinellas County medical examiner’s report, Hogan suffered a heart attack on July 24 at his Clearwater residence. The report also revealed that the wrestler had previously dealt with leukemia and atrial fibrillation, a condition that affects the heart rate. Security at the church was reinforced by Largo police officers, including canine units, ensuring the privacy of the event. Access was restricted to those not on the guest list, with clear signage indicating that it was a private event. Former President Donald Trump shared a photo on his Truth Social platform, where he is seen competing in an arm-wrestling match with Hogan, adding a personal touch to the tribute. Governor Ron DeSantis declared last Friday as “Hulk Hogan Day in Florida”, ordering flags to be flown at half-staff at all official state buildings. Hulk Hogan, recognized for his charisma and achievements in the ring, was a central figure in WWE history. His impact was evident from the first WrestleMania in 1985, facing legends like Andre The Giant, Randy Savage, The Rock, and even WWE co-founder Vince McMahon. Hogan’s fame transcended the world of wrestling, participating in various films and television shows, including the reality show “Hogan Knows Best”, which offered a glimpse into his personal life. Hogan’s body will be cremated. Her daughter, Brooke Bollea Oleksy, known as Brooke Hogan, shared an emotional message on social media, paying tribute to her father.
