Togethxr and London City Lionesses: A Partnership for Women’s Football
The company Togethxr, founded by prominent athletes such as Alex Morgan, Sue Bird, Simone Manuel, and Chloe Kim, has sealed a strategic alliance that will bring its motto “Everyone Sees Women’s Sports” to the jerseys of the London City Lionesses team. The London City currently competes in England’s Women’s Super League (WSL), and its first match of the season is scheduled for Saturday against Arsenal. Michele Kang, owner of the Washington Spirit of the NWSL and OL Lyonnes of the French league, acquired the Lionesses in 2023. It is noteworthy that London City is the only WSL team not associated with a Premier League club. The “Everyone Watches Women’s Sports” t-shirts were launched in 2023 and quickly gained popularity, being worn by celebrities and athletes such as actor Jason Sudeikis and Golden State Warriors player Steph Curry. Togethxr announced earlier this year that the sale of products with this slogan generated $6 million in revenue for the media and commerce company. The agreement between Togethxr and the Lionesses is described as an alliance, not a sponsorship, so the company does not make payments to place the slogan on the jerseys. Togethxr also maintains collaborations with the WNBA and the NWSL.“The London City Lionesses was founded to reinvent women’s football, to be bold, independent and to drive women’s football,” Kang said in a statement. “Our alliance with Togethxr reflects that same goal and allows us to achieve it at an accelerated pace. Seeing ‘Everyone Sees Women’s Sports’ on our kit is a powerful statement and we look forward to starting influential conversations that advance women’s sports.”

“We are united to reaffirm that the future of women’s sports is here. It is global and inevitable. London City Lionesses was born to revolutionize football, and Togethxr was born to revolutionize sports media,” stated Alex Morgan.
