Zilisch to the 2026 NASCAR Cup Series with Trackhouse: The Phenomenon Confirms Arrival

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Connor Zilisch, visibly emotional, couldn’t hold back tears as he announced his move up to the NASCAR Cup Series in 2026. The announcement, although expected by many, was made official with the confirmation that Zilisch, a 19-year-old with seven victories in NASCAR’s Xfinity Series, will join the main competition.

A Promising Future at Trackhouse Racing

Justin Marks, owner of Trackhouse Racing, revealed that Zilisch signed a multi-year contract to compete full-time for the team next year. Zilisch will take Daniel Suarez’s place behind the wheel of a Chevrolet yet to be numbered and will join Ross Chastain and Shane van Gisbergen, completing Marks’ three-car team.
