Santo Domingo – The excitement of softball is at its peak with the development of the XXXV Rubén Pimentel League Tournament, organized by the National District Softball Association (Asadina). The competition, which brings together outstanding teams, has begun its decisive stage with intense confrontations in both divisions.
North Division Leaders
In the North Division, the teams Liga Naco, Los Mellos, Domingo Guzmán, la Casa del Colt, and Halcones del Evaristo lead their respective groups (A, B, C, D, and E). Los Búfalos, the winner between Luperón and Cementera, Saludables, San Francisco/Comercio en Marcha and los Picapiedras, occupy the second places. The tournament pays tribute to Jorge Rijo from the San Jerónimo league and Rafael Franjul from the Aborigen.
