Camavinga, Significant Absence for Real Madrid
Real Madrid has confirmed that Eduardo Camavinga suffered an ankle sprain, which represents a new setback for the merengue team ahead of the start of the LaLiga season. Camavinga’s absence adds to the existing one of Jude Bellingham, who underwent shoulder surgery last month and is expected to be out of action until October. This situation poses significant challenges for Real Madrid’s midfield. The white team will start its 2025-26 season on August 19, receiving Osasuna at the Santiago Bernabéu, with the aim of improving its performance after a previous campaign in which they failed to win any major title. The club issued an official statement detailing Camavinga’s injury:“Following tests carried out on Eduardo Camavinga by Real Madrid’s medical services, he has been diagnosed with a sprain in his right ankle.”
