Announcing the nominees for the 2025 Ballon d’Or

The names of the footballers who will compete for the 2025 Ballon d’Or have been announced. Among the favorites are Ousmane Dembélé, star player of Paris Saint-Germain, and Lamine Yamal, the young promise of Barcelona. Dembélé played a crucial role in PSG’s conquest of their first Champions League last season. Meanwhile, Yamal, at just 19 years old, has dazzled with his performances at Barcelona and with the Spanish national team, which has generated comparisons with Lionel Messi. Rodri, winner of the award the previous year, is not on the list due to a knee injury that kept him off the field until the penultimate match of the Premier League season with Manchester City. In the list, Dembélé is accompanied by eight other PSG teammates, including Désiré Doué, Achraf Hakimi and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.
