Novak Djokovic Invests in French Football
Tennis star Novak Djokovic joins a group of investors who have acquired a stake in the French second division football team, Le Mans. The news was confirmed by the club on Friday, and among the investors are former Formula 1 drivers, Felipe Massa and Kevin Magnussen. Le Mans announced in a statement that these new investors join others, including the Latin American sports investment firm OutField and Georgios Frangulis, founder and CEO of OakBerry. Frangulis is the partner of Aryna Sabalenka, three-time Grand Slam champion in women’s tennis.No financial details about the investment were disclosed.The uniqueness of this fund also lies in its contribution of high-level athletes. Novak Djokovic, Felipe Massa and Kevin Magnussen will be part of the adventure.
