Tajon Buchanan completes his permanent transfer to Villarreal.
Canadian international Tajon Buchanan has finalized his permanent transfer to Villarreal, signing a five-year contract. Buchanan joined the LaLiga club in February on loan from Inter Milan.
The 26-year-old footballer, who primarily plays as a midfielder but can also play as a winger, passed the medical tests on Tuesday, according to a statement from Villarreal.
The transfer has been closed for a figure close to 9 million euros ($10.39 million).

Buchanan, who joined Inter in January 2024 from Club Brugge, played 13 LaLiga matches with Villarreal, a team that finished fifth last season.

Buchanan has also played 51 matches for the Canada national team.
Villarreal will begin their LaLiga campaign on August 15 with a home match against Oviedo.
