Lando Norris: Scars and Success in Formula 1

McLaren driver and Formula 1 title contender Lando Norris wears the marks of success on his face. Two scars on his nose are a testament to key moments in his career, and the Briton does not regret these “battle wounds”. The first scar was the result of an accident in Amsterdam last year, during a weekend of celebration, a few days before his historic first victory at the Miami Grand Prix. The second occurred at Silverstone this month, while celebrating his first home victory, at the British Grand Prix. A mesh fence partially collapsed and a photographer fell on him, resulting in injury. It’s healing well now. I had a more professional repair on this one. Both are great memories for me. If I want to look in the mirror and think of something great, I just look at my nose. Norris, smiling, shared details about his latest facial injury during the Belgian Grand Prix. At this point in the season, Norris is in second position in the championship, just eight points behind his Australian teammate, Oscar Piastri. He has achieved four victories this season, including the prestigious Monaco Grand Prix.
