Intimidation plan against Kenny Grullón from prison reported
A serious security situation has been reported by communicator Ramón Tolentino, who warned about a scheme of threats and intimidation directed at the renowned actor Kenny Grullón and his family. According to the revelations, the person responsible for this harassment is the same individual who broke into the artist’s residence, who is now allegedly operating from the prison facility where he is serving pre-trial detention.
Given the dangerous nature of the case, an urgent call has been made to the Dominican authorities, including the Executive Branch and the police leadership, to provide immediate physical protection and intelligence work for the affected family, who have been the target of intimidating messages through social media.
Assault details and attacker’s background
The original incident occurred on October 2nd, when the criminal entered Grullón’s home. Under threats with a bladed weapon, the assailant subdued the comedian, immobilizing him with cables while the other family members, including his wife, the communicator Ana Rosina Troncoso, were at the scene. The individual managed to steal personal belongings, cash, and a mobile device.
The defendant, identified as Jeffrey Manuel Jiménez, known in criminal circles as Babo or El Vago, has an extensive criminal record that includes 19 entries in security agencies for robbery and violence offenses. Following his capture by DICRIM agents, a judge ordered three months of preventive detention in the Baní prison.
This criminal has taken it upon himself, since he arrived, to threaten and intimidate in order to tell Kenny Grullón that he has to drop the lawsuit when the three months are up.

Request for security measures
To safeguard the integrity of the family, Alofoke Deportes reports the need to implement forceful actions by the State:
- Permanent custody: Fixed security assignment at the residence and intelligence accompaniment during the movements of those affected.
- Transfer to high security: The immediate transfer of the inmate to a maximum-security facility, such as Las Parras prison, to cut off access to mobile devices and curb illicit operations from within the facility.
The Grullón family, through statements by Javier Grullón, has stated that, although the actor is physically out of danger, the emotional impact following the traumatic experience is profound. Authorities are keeping the case under surveillance while awaiting an effective response to the request for reinforced protection.
