Venezuelan government orders unblocking of web portals amid political dialogues
In a move seeking to foster a climate of understanding, the acting president of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, has instructed the immediate unblocking of a new group of web portals and digital platforms that had access restrictions in the country. The news was confirmed by the Minister of Communication, Miguel Ángel Pérez Pirela, who highlighted that this action responds to the progress made in the recent cycle of talks between the ruling party and a sector of the opposition.
In response to this joint effort, the head of state ordered the immediate unblocking of a set of platforms and web portals.

Although the Venezuelan authorities have not detailed the specific list of sites that will have their access restored nor the exact number of platforms benefited, the measure is part of the Program for Peace and Democratic Coexistence.
