Man sentenced to 30 years in prison for double poisoning in Jarabacoa
The First Collegiate Court of Jarabacoa handed down a 30-year prison sentence against José Ricardo Valdez, after finding him guilty of serious charges including the murder by poisoning of his former father-in-law and the attempted murder of his ex-girlfriend. The tragic event took place in March 2025 within the community of Hato Viejo.
The judicial decision was based on the solid file presented by the Public Prosecutor’s Office, represented in the courtroom by prosecutor Arturo Vélez.
