With the goal of consolidating a dominant pitching staff from the start of the 2026-27 season, the Toros del Este management has confirmed the return of two fundamental pieces for their staff: pitchers Aaron Sánchez and Carlos Rodríguez. Both arms will be available to the coaching staff from opening day, strengthening the aspirations of the La Romana team.
Aaron Sánchez’s impact on the mound
Aaron Sánchez arrives after a historic performance in the league. His previous performance catapulted him to win the Pitcher of the Year award, a milestone that places him alongside legendary figures of the franchise such as Raúl Valdés, Paolo Espino, Robert Ellis, and Gibson Alba. During his most recent participation, Sánchez demonstrated remarkable superiority on the mound.
