Red Panda ready for next season after WNBA accident

Good news for basketball fans. Red Panda, the acclaimed artist known for her acrobatic routines, intends to be fully recovered for the next season. The incident occurred during halftime of the WNBA Commissioner’s Cup final game between the Indiana Fever and the Minnesota Lynx on Tuesday. Red Panda suffered a fall while performing her act on a unicycle. According to his agency, Red Panda, whose real name is Rong Niu, suffered a fracture in his left wrist and will require a consultation with an orthopedic surgeon. Rong Niu spent eleven hours in a Minneapolis hospital. During that time, two members of the Lynx staff were with her. Her agent, Patrick Figley, reported that the Chinese-American acrobat would return home for treatment and recovery, which will take a few months.

“She is very grateful. Red Panda thanks everyone who has wished her well and given her their support. It means a lot to her,” Figley stated.

The fall occurred when Red Panda fell forward from her unicycle, which is approximately eight feet tall. She immediately grabbed her left wrist and was assisted off the court in a wheelchair before being taken by ambulance to the hospital. Red Panda comes from a family of acrobats. His act consists of riding a unicycle and balancing custom bowls on his leg before tossing them onto his head. He has participated in countless basketball games, including Game 5 of the NBA Finals last month in Oklahoma City.

“He is very grateful for all the support he is receiving,” added Figley.
