Jake Paul Dominates Julio César Chávez Jr. in Cruiserweight Battle
Jake Paul added one more victory to his record by defeating Julio César Chávez Jr. by unanimous decision in a 10-round fight in the cruiserweight category. The event took place at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California, and was broadcast on DAZN PPV. The judges awarded the following scores: 99-91, 97-93, and 98-92, reflecting Paul’s clear superiority in the ring. This victory extends Paul’s winning streak to six fights, since his split-decision loss to Tommy Fury in February 2023. Previously, Paul had achieved a unanimous decision victory over Mike Tyson in November. Chávez, former WBC middleweight world champion, holds an impressive career record. He won the title with a majority decision victory against Sebastian Zbik in June 2011, and made three successful defenses of it. For Paul, this fight represented a significant opportunity.
