Google revolutionizes the mobile market with the new Pixel 11 series and its focus on Artificial Intelligence
The tech giant Google has officially unveiled its latest generation of smartphones, the Pixel 11 series, betting everything on the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to transform the user experience, both in audiovisual content creation and high-precision photographic capture.
During the annual “Made by Google” event, held in New York and hosted by comedian Trevor Noah, the company unveiled a family consisting of the Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro XL, and the innovative Pixel 11 Pro Fold models. All these devices are powered by the new Tensor G6 processor, designed to handle complex machine learning tasks efficiently.
AI-powered high-resolution photography
The biggest technological leap in this series lies in its photographic capabilities. Thanks to a new AI diffusion model, the devices are capable of reconstructing visual details when applying extreme zooms, reaching up to 120x in the Pro version and 30x in the standard model. After capturing the image, the user receives two versions: one optimized by AI, which offers superior sharpness, and the original unprocessed version.
Photographs retouched by artificial intelligence will feature C2PA credentials, a digital watermark integrated into the metadata that ensures transparency regarding the origin of the image.
A relevant technical detail is that, to preserve the authenticity of individuals, the AI does not apply sharpness enhancements to human faces, focusing its power on reconstructing backgrounds and environmental elements to achieve a balanced composition.
Advanced features for content creators
Alofoke Deportes highlights the new tools designed for those who constantly generate multimedia content:
- Magic Capture: This feature analyzes a recorded video and automatically extracts the best snapshots, identifying key moments such as a score in a basketball game or expressive celebrations.
- Creator Suite: Includes an integrated teleprompter that automatically adjusts its scrolling speed to the rhythm of the user’s voice, facilitating the recording of professional videos without the need for external equipment.
With this launch, Google reaffirms its intention to lead the smart device segment, integrating cutting-edge technology directly into the pockets of its users.
