Gadzhi Rabadanov Advances to PFL Final with Stunning Victory

Russian lightweight Gadzhi Rabadanov will seek his second PFL championship in two years after advancing to the final with a first-round knockout victory over Kevin Lee. The main event took place at the INTRUST Bank Arena in Wichita, Kansas.

Rabadanov (26-4-2) finished Lee (20-9) with strikes along the fence at 2:37 of the first round. It was a dominant victory for Rabadanov, who extended his winning streak to 14 and earned his fourth consecutive knockout victory.

The fighter from St. Petersburg, Russia, will face Alfie Davis (19-5-1) in the final on August 15th, who advanced with a decision victory over Brent Primus.

Rabadanov already won the 2024 lightweight tournament with a TKO in the third round over Primus in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Liz Carmouche and Jena Bishop Also Secure Their Place in the Final

Former Bellator MMA flyweight champion Liz Carmouche (24-8) advanced to the PFL final with a decision victory over Elora Dana (8-1). She will face Jena Bishop (9-2), a grappling specialist who secured a rear-naked choke submission in the second round over Ekaterina Shakalova (9-3).

Carmouche reached the PFL 2024 semi-finals before losing to Taila Santos. Bishop, who fights out of San Diego, also advanced to the semi-finals in 2024 before losing to eventual champion Dakota Ditcheva.

The 2025 women’s lightweight and flyweight championships will be held at the Bojangles Coliseum in Charlotte, North Carolina.
