Henry Ruggs Apologizes for Fatal Accident at Public Event

Former Raiders wide receiver Henry Ruggs, who was temporarily released from prison on Tuesday night, participated in a “Hope for Prisoners” event in Las Vegas. During the event, Ruggs offered apologies to the family of the woman who died in a car accident almost four years ago, caused by him. The incident occurred on November 2, 2021, when Ruggs was driving his sports car at a speed of up to 156 mph in the city. Ruggs’ vehicle collided with another car, resulting in the death of the driver, Tina Tintor, and her dog, Max. Tintor was 23 years old. In the event, Ruggs was asked what he would say to Tintor’s family.

One, I wish I could turn back time. I would love for them to know the real Henry Ruggs and not the one who was running from something. Honestly, I apologize not only for being a part of that situation, but also for the fact that my face is always in the news, always in the newspaper. So they have to constantly remember the situation, remember me.
