Howard Sets Record from the Three-Point Line

This achievement also meant a new record for the Dream franchise, surpassing Renee Montgomery’s eight three-pointers in 2018.Howard’s performance was crucial for the victory, especially in the third and fourth quarters, where he scored key points that propelled his team. In the third quarter, he scored 11 points that helped Atlanta take the lead, and continued his streak in the last quarter with three-pointers that extended the advantage.This was the ninth time in his career that Howard has surpassed 30 points, the second-most in franchise history.

Griner Climbs in Block List

Brittney Griner, for her part, also left her mark on the game by moving up to second place on the WNBA’s blocks list, surpassing Lisa Leslie.Griner achieved a crucial block in the third quarter to tie Leslie and then added another in the fourth to secure second place alone, approaching Margo Dydek’s record. She finished the game with 7 points and 3 blocks.
